Overview
Alakada: Bad & Boujee is a 2024 Nigerian English-language comedy-drama film directed by Adebayo Tijani and written/produced by Toyin Abraham. It is the latest instalment in the popular Alakada franchise, following the character Yetunde Animashaun, a young woman from a modest background who pretends to belong to the elite and projects a glamorous social media lifestyle. In this film, she must navigate the consequences of maintaining a façade of luxury, face her insecurities, and ultimately learn to accept herself rather than chasing validation through appearances. The film blends humour with social commentary about image, status and the influence of social media in contemporary Nigeria.

It's nice. Felt like 3 different storylines in one movie though. 7/10 for me.
