Ronke Odusanya is a veteran Nigerian Yoruba-language actress, film producer and stage performer best known for her work in Nollywood and the Yoruba film industry. With a career spanning two decades, Ronke has built a reputation for memorable supporting and lead performances in popular Yoruba and Nollywood films such as Flakky Ijaya, Gangan, Jenifa and A Girl’s Note, and continues to appear in high-profile projects and stage productions. Born and raised in southwestern Nigeria, Ronke studied at Federal Government Girls College, Akure, and earned a degree in Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University before launching her acting career. She made her feature debut in the early 2000s and rose to national prominence through a mix of television, cinema and online content (including her YouTube channel “Ronnies TV”). Ronke is frequently covered by Nigerian entertainment press and is recognised for her versatility — moving easily between dramatic and comic roles — as well as for producing and promoting Yoruba culture through film.
