An Impressive Project for a Zombie Genre Attempt
Honestly, Alive Till Dawn is a good attempt and clearly feels like a movie made with intention. You can tell the producers put real thought into the project, and that effort shows in several areas.
The story is decent and engaging, the acting is good, and the characters really showed up with their A-game. For me, Michael Dappa and Chisom Agoawuike stood out the most. Their performances were very impressive, and Michael Dappa, in particular, did a great job with the fighting stunts. I also found myself laughing at a few moments, which added to the overall enjoyment.
The movie isn’t without its flaws. Some of the visual effects felt a bit too much and were unrealistic. If there’s another zombie project in the future, I think balancing the effects better would help a lot. Studying projects like "The Walking Dead" could offer useful inspiration in that regard. There were also a few minor script hiccups, but nothing too distracting; they’re mostly ignorable.
Despite its shortcomings, Alive Till Dawn is an enjoyable and commendable effort with strong performances and entertaining moments. Definitely worth a watch.
