In a major development for the production of Fast & Furious 11, it has been confirmed that the movie will feature a new writer. Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic 'Dom' Toretto, announced on Instagram that Zach Dean will be writing Fast X Part 2, also known as Fast 11.
There are speculations that Dean will collaborate with Oren Uziel and Christina Hudson. The upcoming movie, set for release in 2026, is a direct sequel to Fast X and may be the concluding chapter of the franchise. Fans are eagerly anticipating a fitting sendoff for the Toretto family.
With Zach Dean now on board, significant changes in the story development of Fast X Part 2 are expected. Dean’s involvement in Fast X Part 1 suggests we may see a cohesive and fitting sequel to wrap up the conflict between Dom and the antagonists Dante (Jason Momoa) and Aimes (Alan Ritchson).
Fast X ended on a massive cliffhanger that left many fans shocked. Aimes was revealed as Dante’s brother, destroying a plane carrying Dom’s crew. There was also a dramatic scene involving a dam bombing after Dom and his child jumped off a bridge. Additionally, Gisele (Gal Gadot) came to rescue Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Cipher (Charlize Theron) with a submarine. The post-credits scene showed Dante threatening Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).
