Blood Vessel is an upcoming mystery/crime thriller from Play Network studios in what will be the studios’ very first Netflix Original.
The story centres around a group of six friends who find themselves caught in a crossfire, and attempt to flee to South America as stowaways on a ship due to unrest growing over a mega coup plotting in their hometown along the Niger Delta.
The film stars a mix of new actors and a few veterans with the cast comprising of David Ezekiel, Adaobi Lilian Dibor, Sylvester Ekanem, Bimbo Manuel, John Dumelo, and BBN alumnus; Pere Egbi.
Netflix has billed the film as an emotionally charged voyage filled with a mix of English and heavily flavoured Niger Delta pidgin to reflect the true essence of the region, while experiencing the adrenaline rush as the characters sail the treacherous seas, fighting for their lives along the way.
Blood Vessel premieres on Netflix on Friday, December 8th 2023.
