Lionsgate Movies has released the final trailer for Ballerina, the much-anticipated action thriller set in the world of John Wick. Headlined by Ana de Armas as a deadly ballerina-assassin and featuring Keanu Reeves reprising his role as the iconic hitman, the film is set to hit theatres on June 6, 2025. Tickets are now officially on sale. The movie trailer, which starts with ‘When you think of me, you should think of fire,’ promises to be a good watch.

Between John Wick's events: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), a skilled killer trained by the Ruska Roma, as she seeks vengeance for her father's murder. The final trailer showcases high-octane action, stylish choreography, and the gritty, underworld tone fans have come to love.

Joining de Armas and Reeves are franchise veterans Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick, alongside Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno.

The film has been years in the making. Lionsgate originally acquired Shay Hatten’s spec script in 2017. Hatten went on to co-write Parabellum and serve as lead writer on Chapter 4. Director Len Wiseman (known for the Underworld series) came on board in 2019, with filming taking place in Prague and additional sequences shot in early 2024.

Ballerina promises to expand the John Wick universe with a fresh female-led perspective while preserving the franchise’s signature blend of sleek violence, emotional stakes, and world-building.

Fans eager to return to the assassin-filled underworld can now grab their tickets for what’s shaping up to be one of 2025’s biggest action releases.
