In the eerie sneak peek, David Schwimmer (Friends) takes a dark turn as Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor who becomes possessed by a sinister force lurking beneath the earth. As he delves into a 30-year-old mystery, Anthony unknowingly unleashes a supernatural entity on New York City, putting everyone around him in danger.

The eight-episode season follows twins Cece (Jayden Bartels) and Devin Brewer (Sam McCarthy), who are sent to spend the summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their recently divorced father, Anthony. But the family reunion takes a terrifying twist when the kids uncover dark secrets tied to their father’s past, triggering a series of events that threaten to unravel a long-buried mystery.

Schwimmer's character becomes deeply entangled in the mystery after his brother and a group of kids disappeared in 1994 under suspicious circumstances that locals attribute to ghosts. While investigating the scene, Anthony gets infected by a mysterious symbiotic organism, and soon, more kids start going missing. Now, it's up to Cece and Devin to stop the entity from controlling their father before it claims even more victims.
