Iretiola (Ireti) Doyle (born 3 May 1967) is a celebrated Nigerian actress, TV presenter, writer, producer, and public speaker with over two decades of experience across stage, television, and film. Born in Ondo State, Nigeria, and raised partly in Boston, she returned to Nigeria for her education, earning a Diploma in Mass Communication and a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos.
Her breakout came with the long-running soap Tinsel, where she portrayed Sheila Ade-Williams for several years. Doyle has delivered standout performances in Nollywood hits such as Across the Niger, Sitanda, Torn, Fifty, The Arbitration, The Wedding Party (1 & 2), Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons, Kasanova, Madam President, A Tune Away, The Black Book, and Love Notes.
On stage, she has featured in acclaimed productions including The Vagina Monologues, Olurounbi the Musical, Hear Word, and The Wives.
Beyond performance, Ireti is a seasoned TV host and producer, having hosted shows like Oge with Iretiola, Morning Ride, Today on STV, and Nimasa This Week. She’s also a published writer, penning screenplays (including Amaka Igwe’s Tempest) and social commentary for outlets like This Day, City People, and Vanguard.
Ireti has earned critical acclaim and multiple nominations, including for Best Actress categories at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and City People Movie Awards, for her powerful, versatile performances and strong presence in Nollywood.
