The official trailer for Wick Is Pain has been released just a little more than a week before the documentary’s release on May 9. 

The film documentary was directed by Jeffery Doe, featuring the franchise’s cast and crew, involving lead actor Keanu Reeves, director Chad Stahelski, and producers Erica Lee, Basil Iwanyk, and David Leitch.

The documentary Wick Is Pain, which we can probably tell from the title, tells the story of the blood, sweat, tears, and pain put into the production of one of Hollywood's biggest and most impactful action movie franchises in recent years, unveiling every challenge met and sacrifice made.

The trailer teases behind-the-scenes clips of the massive efforts made and hardships endured to make the John Wick franchise a possibility. Director Chad Stahelski recounts the pressure in the trailer, admitting, "We were panicked. This is Keanu f*****king' Reeves. You do not wanna let him down." With statements like "We are doomed. We are completely f***ed," by producer Basil Iwanyk, and “It was just pure mayhem,” by producer Erica Lee, highlighting the hurdles faced in the film’s production. Jason Constantine dropped an ambiguous statement: in Hollywood, you would never kill a dog. What really went down there?

Keanu Reeves ended the trailer with the closing statement, “Wick is pain, Wick is celebration, Wick is against the odds, Wick is friendship, Wick is love; it’s all those big ideas… F**k yeah,” encompassing their complex journey and ultimate triumph.
