Tobi Bakre (born 1 June 1994) is a dynamic Nigerian actor, model, host, compere, and published photographer. Hailing from Lagos State and of Ogun State origin, he graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Science in Banking & Finance, following in his banker father's footsteps.

He began his professional journey in finance, working in Nigeria’s banking sector and in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for four years, before pivoting to entertainment after emerging as a finalist on Big Brother Naija Season 3 in 2018. This reality TV platform catapulted him into the Nigerian popular imagination and laid the foundation for a successful media and acting career.

Since then, Tobi has built a reputation as a versatile entertainer, hosting, modelling, emceeing, and capturing moments through photography. He has served as a brand ambassador for major brands like Unilever, Amstel Malta, and Jumia both locally and internationally.

In his acting career, Tobi has starred in notable Nollywood films and series, including Mokalik (2019), Sugar Rush, Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story, Sanitation Day, The Blood Covenant, Unintentional, Brotherhood (2022), Gangs of Lagos (2023), The Bloom Boys, Farmer’s Bride (2024), and Suky (2025). On television, he appeared in the Africa Magic series Hustle and led the crime drama series Slum King in 2023.

Tobi’s performance in Brotherhood earned him the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Award (AMVCA) for Best Actor in a Drama, a testament to his acting chops and growing influence in the industry. He continues to be a rising star, with critics and audiences applauding his compelling presence, emotional depth, and action energy, especially evident in films like Brotherhood and Gangs of Lagos.
