Ruby Akubueze is a dynamic and award-winning Nigerian actor, filmmaker, singer, model, voice artist, and entrepreneur. A versatile force in Nollywood and beyond, she gained wide recognition for her compelling portrayal of Frances on MTV Shuga Naija (Seasons 3 and 4). Her nuanced performances extend to roles such as Ini Obong in Kasanova, Oby in the Netflix original Ijogbon, and her internationally acclaimed short film Rehearsal, which brought her nominations and wins across global film festivals.
As a creative grounded in storytelling, Ruby trained in Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos, honing her craft across acting and voice work. Her commitment to authentic narratives led her to produce powerful performances in Schooled, Accroché, Baby Farm, and the upcoming feature 3 Cold Dishes.
