Mike Ezuruonye (born 21 September 1982 in Lagos, Nigeria) is one of Nollywood's most familiar and respected leading men. A graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where he studied Accounting, Mike first worked as a banker before fate intervened and he was discovered while buying fuel, launching his prolific career in Nollywood. He swiftly rose to prominence with roles in blockbusters like Critical Decision, The Duplex, Unforgivable, and Brother Jekwu, showcasing his range across drama, thriller, and comedy. Mike’s talent earned him nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (notably for The Assassin in 2009) and the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.
Beyond acting, Mike has expanded his reach as a filmmaker, writing, producing, and directing titles such as Brother Jekwu and Lagos Real Fake Life, which underscores his multifaceted influence in Nollywood. He’s also earned recognition as "the face of African film" by Kenyan media.
