Kehinde Bankole (born 27 March 1985 in Ogun State, Nigeria) is a celebrated Nigerian actress, model, and television host whose versatile career has made her a prominent figure in Nollywood. A graduate of Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Kehinde launched her modelling journey in 2003 with Miss Commonwealth Nigeria and later competed in Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN). She gained major recognition as a brand ambassador for Lux in 2007, solidifying her presence in the entertainment and fashion industries.
Transitioning into acting, Bankole made her debut on the Wale Adenuga TV drama Super Story: Everything It Takes, portraying the character Caro. She subsequently appeared in other popular series like Papa Ajasco, Hotel Majestic, Tinsel, and Desperate Housewives Africa as the memorable Kiki Obi.
Kehinde’s film career is equally impressive, featuring standout roles in The Meeting, Imala, Two Brides and a Baby, October 1, Prophetess, Love Castle, Dear Affy, Finding Hubby, Blood Sisters, and Adire. Her dynamic performances earned her the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) for Best Actress in a Drama for her roles in October 1 (2015) and Adire (2024), making her one of the most honoured actresses in the category.
Beyond acting, she has hosted popular TV shows like Soul Sisters and African Kitchen, showcasing her skills as a television presenter.
Born into a close-knit family, Kehinde is the fourth of six children of architect Babatunde Bankole and Titilayo Bankole. She also has a twin sister, Taiwo, who occasionally acts as well.
