Blossom Chukwujekwu is a Nigerian actor and film producer who made his professional acting debut in 2009. Born on November 4, 1983, in Benin City, Edo State, he is the first of two sons born to Dr. I.E. Chukwujekwu and Evangelist J.C. Chukwujekwu. He is originally from Otolo, Nnewi North in Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria. He attended Greater Tomorrow Primary School and Greater Tomorrow Comprehensive College in Benin City. He began his tertiary education studying Mass Communications at Anambra State University of Science and Technology, spent a year there, then transferred and completed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications at Benson Idahosa University, Benin City. While at BIU, he was president of the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMCOS) during the 2007/2008 session, and active in theatre via the House of Theatre (HOT). After graduation, he moved to Lagos after completing his National Youth Service Corps to pursue acting full-time. Over the years, Blossom Chukwujekwu has featured in many Nollywood films. He gained critical acclaim for his roles in Flower Girl (2013), Finding Mercy (2013), Knocking on Heaven’s Door (2014), The Visit (2015), A Place Called Happy, and Ghana Must Go. In 2015, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. His body of work spans film, television, and stage, and he is known for versatility in dramatic and romantic roles.
