Bimbo Manuel (born 30 October 1958 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a veteran Nollywood actor, theatre-trained performer and former broadcaster whose career spans television, film and stage since the mid-1980s. A graduate of the University of Port Harcourt with a degree in Theatre Arts, Manuel began his media career as a broadcaster at Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) and Ogun State Television (OGTV) before moving full-time into acting. He is widely known for memorable roles in television series such as Tinsel and Checkmate and for film appearances in titles including Tango with Me, Alero’s Symphony, Heroes & Zeros, October 1, 93 Days and more recent works like Eyimofe and Ayinla. Over decades he’s earned recognition for strong supporting performances and a reputation as one of Nigeria’s dependable character actors, with nominations including a Best Supporting Actor nod at the Nollywood Movies Awards.
