The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has unveiled the nominees for its 11th edition, celebrating Africa’s best in film and television.
This year’s nominations feature a strong lineup of upcoming and veteran actors, filmmakers, and content creators across various categories.

The AMVCA continues to recognize and celebrate African storytelling in indigenous languages, with nominations across West, East, and Southern Africa.
Best Indigenous Language (West Africa)
Best Indigenous Language (East Africa)
Best Indigenous Language (South Africa)
Excellence in Film Editing
Best Digital Content Creator
The AMVCA recognized talents for their excellence across 27 award categories, including 18 non-voting and nine audience-voting categories. The non-voting categories will be decided by the AMVCA panel of judges, led by the head judge and ace filmmaker Femi Odugbemi.
Voting has officially opened and will run until 4th May 2025 via the Africa Magic website.
