Alana Haim, the breakout star from Licorice Pizza, is set to dive into three major acting roles. She will be appearing alongside some of Hollywood’s most exciting names. After impressing audiences with her debut in Paul Thomas Anderson’s coming-of-age drama, Haim has lined up two newly named projects: The Mastermind and The Drama.
Directed by Kelly Reichardt, The Mastermind will see Haim teaming up with Josh O'Connor for a gripping heist story set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War and the rise of the women's liberation movement. Fresh off his role in Challengers, O'Connor joins Haim as the duo takes on a thrilling narrative that promises suspense and complexity.
On the other hand, The Drama brings together a stellar cast, featuring Robert Pattinson and Zendaya. In this film, Haim will share the screen with the pair who have made waves in recent hit projects, including Pattinson’s portrayal of Batman and Zendaya’s celebrated role in Euphoria.
The connection between The Mastermind and The Drama doesn’t stop at Haim. Both O’Connor and Zendaya starred in Challengers, the passionate tennis drama that became a sensation earlier this year. Fans can expect more unforgettable performances with both actors moving on to new roles alongside Haim.
Alana Haim is also set to star in the untitled Paul Thomas Anderson event film alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Regina Hall.
While official release dates for The Mastermind and The Drama are still under wraps, anticipation is building as Haim steps further into the spotlight, continuing to prove that her acting talents go far beyond her music career.
