Yvonne Jegede (born August 25, 1983) is a celebrated Nigerian actress, film producer, model, and television personality. Hailing from Agenebode in Edo State, she grew up in Lagos and later earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Girne American University (University of Cyprus).
Her journey into Nollywood began with a role in the 2004 film Missing Angels, and she gained widespread recognition after appearing in the iconic music video for “African Queen” by 2Face Idibia in 2005.
Upon completing her studies, she returned to the film industry with key roles in Okafor’s Law, Single and Married, 10 Days in Sun City, and more. In 2015, she produced her first movie, 3 Is Company, demonstrating her versatility as both actress and producer. Her dynamic presence also earned her a spot on the cover of the wedding edition of Genevieve Magazine in late 2016.
Yvonne’s filmography includes standout performances in titles such as Gold Statue, Cordelia, A Tribe Called Judah, Adire, Makemation, Crossroads, and A Father’s Love, among many others.
