Yemi Blaq (né Folayemi Olatunji), born on May 19, 1978, in Ondo State, Nigeria, is a celebrated Nigerian Nollywood actor, model, songwriter, and filmmaker. He began honing his craft early, serving as the first Head Boy at Adeyemi Demonstration Secondary School in Ondo State. His passion for performing matured in Lagos, where he continued his education and eventually launched his professional acting career in 2005 by registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

His breakthrough came with the film Lost to Lust, where he starred alongside Mercy Johnson. Since then, he has become a powerful presence in Nollywood, featuring in a wide range of compelling films—such as Sinking Sands, Shadow Parties, Adire, Boycott, The Marriage Fixer, and House of Ga’a.

As a multifaceted creative artist, Yemi is not only known for his acting but also for his talents as a songwriter, model, filmmaker, and voice-over artist, which adds dimension and richness to his Nollywood repertoire.
