Hailing from Kwara State and raised in Kaduna, Kaduna State, Uzee Usman Adeyemi holds dual degrees in Political Science and English Language, obtained from the University of Abuja and the University of Jos, respectively. His quest for expertise led him to pursue studies in Special Effects in South Africa.
Dr. Uzee Usman embarked on his illustrious career in 2003 as a makeup artist. In 2013, he ventured into the domain of filmmaking, delivering exceptional productions across Kannywood and Nollywood. Notable among his creations is "Oga Abuja," which clinched the prestigious Best Hausa Movie of the Year at the 2013 City People Entertainment Awards. Additionally, "Maja" secured the coveted Best Film of the Year (Kannywood) at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards and earned a nomination in the Best Picture category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In a significant milestone in 2021, he was honored with an Honorary Doctorate Degree by iheris University Togo, recognizing his outstanding contributions and achievements in the realm of film and entertainment.
