Toni Tones, born Gbemisola Anthonia Adefuye on July 20, 1985, is a celebrated Nigerian media personality, Nollywood actress, photographer, and singer. The youngest of five siblings, she completed her early education at Queen’s College in Lagos and went on to study Marketing and Economics at the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom.
Toni began her journey in the entertainment industry behind the camera as a show business photographer. Her striking portfolio quickly caught the attention of D’banj’s reality show, Koko Mansion, sparking her transition onto the screen. Since then, she has graced both television and film with notable performances, including roles in web series such as Gidi-culture, and films like It’s Her Day, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, and the critically acclaimed King of Boys, where she played the younger Eniola Salami, earning a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in 2020.
Toni’s versatile talents shine in other major Nollywood projects as well, like Quam’s Money (2020), where she starred alongside popular names such as Falz, Jemima Osunde, and Nse Ikpe-Etim, and Brotherhood (2022), a pan-African crime action film that became one of Nigeria’s highest-grossing movies. Her creative journey continues to captivate audiences across acting, photography, and media.
