Nse Ikpe-Etim (born 21 October 1974 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a celebrated Nigerian award-winning actress and one of Nollywood’s most respected talents. A native of Akwa Ibom State, she spent her early years moving across Nigeria due to her father’s career at the Central Bank, attending schools in Kaduna, Jos, and Ilorin. She earned her first degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar.
Her breakthrough came in 2008 with the film Reloaded, earning her a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards. She later received an additional nomination for Mr. and Mrs. and won Best Actress in a Drama at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards for her role in Journey to Self.
Nse has delivered critically acclaimed performances across Nollywood, with standout roles in Fine Wine, Fifty, Shanty Town (Netflix series), and The Wait. Fluent in delivering emotionally complex characters, her versatility ranges from strong dramatic leads to multifaceted contemporary figures.
A private person, she married childhood friend Clifford Sule on 14 February 2013. The couple resides in London, though she remains actively engaged in film projects in Nigeria.
