Mofe Duncan (born May 28, 1983) is a celebrated Nigerian actor, director, model, TV presenter, and media entrepreneur, best known for his dynamic contributions to Nollywood. As CEO of the creative agency 5ive28, he leads in the production of films, event coordination, photography, and other media content. With over 70 Nollywood movie credits, Mofe Duncan has starred in notable films such as Dark Past, The Three Kings, Talking Dolls, Soft Work, The Washerman, and 13 Letters. His filmography also includes roles in more recent projects like The New Normal and the TV series Agu.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and originally from Delta State, Mofe is the youngest of seven children in a family led by a professor and a banker. He holds a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Lagos (Unilag). Starting his early career in modeling—his first appearances were in commercials for major brands like Nestlé (Maggi)—he seamlessly transitioned into acting after university. Over the years, he has also hosted shows on HITV, worked as an on-air personality for Rhythm FM, and undertaken project coordination roles in film production.
A proud and active Christian, Mofe Duncan is passionate about horror films and video games and has mentioned a quirky allergy to grass. He's also known for speaking openly about personal challenges in the entertainment industry, including body shaming, injuries from trying to meet public expectations, and resilience in the face of criticism.
