Meg Otanwa is a distinguished Nigerian actress and former banker, celebrated for her compelling performances in Nollywood films and television series. Born on February 14, Meg hails from the Idoma-speaking region of Benue State, Nigeria. Raised in a polyglot family, she is fluent in multiple languages, including English, Yoruba, French, Hausa, and her native Idoma.
Before transitioning into acting, Meg had a successful career at the African Development Bank in Tunis, Tunisia. Her passion for the arts led her to pursue a career in acting, making her Nollywood debut in 2011 with the film I'll Take My Chances. She gained widespread recognition for her roles in October 1 (2014), Kpians: The Feast of Souls (2014), and the Africa Magic telenovela Hush (2016–2017), where she portrayed the character Koko Ogunbiade.
In addition to her acting career, Meg has been involved in various humanitarian and entrepreneurial endeavours. She is known for her advocacy work and has a significant presence on social media platforms, where she shares insights into her professional and personal life.
