Michael Sani Amanesi, popularly known as MC Lively, is a celebrated Nigerian comedian and actor renowned for his engaging skits and vibrant on-screen presence. Born on August 14, 1992, in Osun State, Nigeria, he hails from Agenebode in Edo State but spent much of his upbringing and education in Osun. A law graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University and called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016, MC Lively chose to channel his creativity into comedy rather than practice law. He first captured national attention in 2015 with his viral skit “Agidi,” through which he humorously addressed social issues and everyday Nigerian life. Since then, he has appeared in well-known Nollywood films including Seven and a Half Dates (2018), Lagos Real Fake Life (2018), Fate of Alakada (2020), Breaded Life (2021), Survivors (2022), and Move Like a Boss (2024). He’s also garnered prestigious honours such as the Royal African Youth Leadership Award from the Ooni of Ife and the City People Music Award for Comedy Act of the Year.
