Linda Adesuwa Osifo (born 27 July 1991) is a dynamic Nigerian–Canadian actress, television host, and humanitarian known for her compelling performances in Nollywood and television. Born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, she spent her early childhood years living with her grandmother before relocating to Canada as a teenager. In 2013, she graduated from York University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Osifo’s acting career began in 2012 with her debut role in Family Secrets, filmed in New Jersey under the direction of Ikechukwu Onyeka. Upon her return to Nigeria later that year, she starred in her first Nollywood film, King Akubueze. She gained widespread recognition portraying “Nina Fire” in the long-running soap Tinsel, and later featured in prominent series such as Fifty (as Adesuwa Dakolo) and Jemeji (as Noweyhon). Her filmography also includes roles in Devil in Agbada, Last Request, and Son of Mercy.
In 2015, Linda was nominated for the ELOY (Exquisite Ladies of the Year) Awards for her work on Desperate Housewives Africa. Her accolades further include winning Best Actor at the African Entertainment Awards Canada and being named Creative Actor of the Year at the Starzz Awards. She also co-hosts the popular game show Give ‘n’ Take National Jackpot alongside Segun Arinze.
Beyond her entertainment career, Linda is deeply committed to philanthropy. She founded the LAO Foundation (Love and Oneness), an NGO focused on combating poverty and illiteracy across Nigeria and Africa. The foundation has initiated projects, including computer donations to orphanages and ICT support to educational institutions.
