Acting
Kunle Coker is a celebrated Nigerian actor and Nollywood veteran, born and raised in Lagos. With a foundation in political science from the University of Ibadan, he honed his craft early through theatre on campus and in secondary school. Coker gained widespread recognition for his long-running portrayal of Ziggy on the acclaimed TV series Tinsel, a role he held for approximately six to seven years, which helped cement his status as a household name in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Beyond Tinsel, he has starred in prominent projects across Nollywood, such as End of State of Emergency (2005), Boycott (2022), and Singleness is Bliss (2024). His versatility shines in hit productions like The Governor, where he played Senator Briggs in the 2016 political drama produced by Mo Abudu, and Manfriend, a gripping 2024 Africa Magic drama series.
Recently, Coker was honoured with the 2023 Project Honours Award by the TOCSS Foundation, recognising his multifaceted contributions as an actor, screenwriter, producer, director, content creator, and media relations professional.
