Femi Jacobs is a celebrated Nigerian actor, speaker, and gospel singer whose versatile talent has captivated both Nollywood and international audiences. Born in Ile Ife, Osun State, he rose from a humble background—growing up in a family of nine and starting life early by leaving home at age eight to live with his uncle. That experience instilled resilience, self-reliance, and creativity in his character. Femi attended Fakunle Comprehensive High School in Osogbo before earning a degree in Mass Communication from Lagos State University, further sharpening his media savvy.
Jacobs first gained widespread acclaim portraying Makinde Esho in the smash-hit romantic comedy The Meeting, a role that earned him a Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards and boosted his visibility in Nollywood. He later won Best Actor in a Comedy at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for his exceptional performance. Femi’s filmography spans both film and television, featuring standout roles in productions like Tinsel, Journey to Self, Taxi Driver: Oko Ashewo, Introducing the Kujus, Eagle Wings, The House of Secrets, and the recent Muri & Ko and Freedom Way.
