Femi Adebayo Salami (born December 31, 1978) is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, producer, lawyer, and politician. The son of veteran actor Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), he has made a significant mark in Nollywood, featuring in over 500 films. His acting career began in 1985 with Ogun Ajaye, and he gained widespread recognition for roles in Owo Blow, October 1, Ayitale, and Jagun Jagun.
Femi holds a law degree from the University of Ilorin and a master’s in law from the University of Ibadan. Beyond acting, he founded J-15 Media, a film academy nurturing emerging talents. He also served as the Special Adviser on Arts, Culture, and Tourism to the Kwara State Governor.
Recognised for his exceptional performances, Femi has won multiple awards, including the Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards. He is married to Omotayo Adebayo and has four children. His contributions continue to shape and elevate the Nigerian film industry.
