Boma Akpore is a Nigerian actor and model originally from Lagos, Nigeria, and now resides in New York City. Having lived in 20 countries across 3 continents, he has garnered substantial support for his diverse talents. Commencing his journey in modelling, Boma represented Nigeria in the 2016 Mr. Imperial Universe contest, securing accolades for Best Body and claiming the 2nd runner-up position. Transitioning away from modelling, he ventured into semi-professional football in Europe. However, a career-hampering injury diverted his path, compelling him to pivot toward acting, just before finalizing a professional football deal in Scotland.

Established in the Acting Scene, he boasts credits in acclaimed productions such as Blacklist, Power, Law & Order SVU, and Brotherhood.

Boma emerged as one of the housemates in the highly acclaimed African television show, Big Brother Naija Season 6, commencing July 24th, 2021. His participation in the show earned him a substantial and devoted following.

Following his appearance, he was appointed as the ambassador and face of the recently concluded one-week AFFRIF, the African International Film Festival held in Lagos, Nigeria.
