Bolanle Ninalowo (born 7 May 1980), popularly known as Nino or by his nickname Makanaki, is a celebrated Nigerian actor and film producer. Before rising to prominence in Nollywood, Ninalowo built his early career as an accountant and banker in the United States, later returning to Nigeria to work for Guaranty Trust Bank and make the bold move to movie production with his debut film, Rebirth.
Quickly establishing himself as a versatile actor, Bolanle Ninalowo has starred in popular Nollywood films and TV series, such as Road to Yesterday, Tiwa’s Baggage, Ratnik, Nigeria’s pioneering sci-fi action feature, 13 Letters, and the Netflix original young adult series Far from Home, where he played the iconic “Oga Rambo”. His performances have earned him multiple awards, including at the Best of Nollywood Awards and the City People Movie Awards.
