Hollywood actor, Sylvester Stallone joins top actors like Idris Elba, John Cena, Margot Robbie, and Viola Davis, among others, in James Gunn's Suicide Squad movie.
James Gunn, the director of the new Suicide Squad movie, confirmed this with a post on his Instagram page on Saturday, November 14. He posted a picture of himself with Sylvester Stallone and captioned it as thus:
"Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone & our work today on #TheSuicideSquad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still dont have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is. ?"
It came as a shocking news as everybody believed that Sylvester just finished producing a movie with the title Samaritan, which is expected to hit the big screens in June 2021. The 74-year-old actor confirmed the news when he took to his Instagram page on Sunday to announce the collaboration with the director. He posted a picture of a breaking news alert from Deadline. The post has a caption that reads;
"Working with this incredible director on this astounding project has made this an amazing year. I am a very lucky man to be surrounded by such talent.! #Warner Bros."
James Gunn is an American film director and producer. He directed The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2, and he is the executive producer of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He and Sylvester previously worked together in 2017 on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
Gunn's Suicide Squad will be hitting theatres in August 2021.
