The Nollywood 2018 legal procedural drama series titled Castle & Castle by the Mo Abudu led EbonyLife TV renews for the second season and will be exclusive on Netflix in 2021.
The CEO of the EbonyLife TV, Mo Abudu, took on her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 to announce that there will be a renewal for the drama series. In her post she said, “Super excited about this month of July. Such great news to share with you all. Guess what guys CASTLE & CASTLE, Nigeria's first legal procedural series did so well it's getting a season 2 and it's EXCLUSIVE TO NETFLIX. We are in development guys. It will be coming to you in 2021”.
The 2018 Nigerian drama series with 15 episodes that premiered on June 21, 2018, and currently streaming on EbonyLife's online platform and on the Netflix network, tells the story of a law firm, Castle and Castle, being run by a couple, Remi and Tega Castle, as they work hard to solve cases by their firm. The Nollywood film series directed by Tope Oshin, Niyi Akinmolayan, and Kenneth Gyang, stars the likes of Richard Mofe Damijo, Dakore Egbuson Akande, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Jude Chukwuka, Daniel Etim Effiong, Anee Icha, Bimbo Manuel, Deyemi Okanlawon, Eku Edewor, Denola Grey amongst others.
We expect a big second season for the Nollywood drama series as we anticipate the year 2021.
