Years after the American Civil War in Wyoming. A popular bounty hunter, John Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his prisoner, Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who is wanted for murder, are heading towards the town of Red Rock. On the trip to Red Rock to bring Daisy to justice, they meet with a bounty hunter, Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson) and Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins). The four are forced to seek shelter in a store where they meet four strangers who will become part of their story.
