Enola Holmes (2020)

Enola Holmes (2020)

England, 1884 - a world on the brink of change. On the morning of her 16th birthday, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) wakes to find that her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) has disappeared, leaving behind an odd assortment of gifts but no apparent clue as to where she's gone or why. After a free-spirited childhood, Enola suddenly finds herself under the care of her brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin), both set on sending her away to a finishing school for "proper" young ladies. Refusing to follow their wishes, Enola escapes to search for her mother in London. But when her journey finds her entangled in a mystery surrounding a young runaway Lord (Louis Partridge), Enola becomes a super-sleuth in her own right, outwitting her famous brother as she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set back the course of history.

Didn't really like it, Holmes didn't even have any sense of humor or comedy in him??‍♂️, still prefare the old Sharlock Holmes movies...and it got to a stage the movie really got tiring....

A very engaging moving, worth the 2hrs movie time...I love the plot twist between mystery, love and family...Av not seen other sherlock Holmes movies but this one is a sure high 5...I wasn't bored all through the movie one bit...Enola Holmes sure played her role well..I hope she got married to the lord afterwards, smiles.

I love everything about this movie,it's worth watching

Enola Holmes!!!

Is it worth two hours of your time well it's hard to say but the plot is developmental. You see a young Enola grown into this fine ass detective Woman and that's sort of the message we want out there. There are a few criticism on my end but a standing ovation has got to go to Millie Bobby Brown cause at her tender age she has grown from “Eleven” into this awesome new character and I think the role Enola is that elevating point in her career. The cast are absolutely lovely and each person gives you that savory entertainment you look forward to.
